I'm In Love...

OK, have to share this.  I cat test for my greyhound group, and I have the SWEETEST foster right now...

He's a big teddy bear and loves to snuggle.  He wants to be in contact with you, whether it's resting his head on your lap or leaning against you.  If you're standing up and not paying attention to you, he'll come up behind you and put his head between your knees. 

It's the cutest thing!  Very endearing.  :-)  Some home will be VERY lucky to have this great guy!!!

New On Etsy...

Stamping Central

I'm so excited to have my new workbench up!!!  This is where I'll be able to do all my handstamping and cutting of sheet metal.  I got to play "Handy Manny" and put this baby together!  So what started as this:

is now the finished product:

It's nice and sturdy, and really heavy duty!  LOVE it!!!

Of course, heavy is key here...  You build the darn thing up-side down, and she-woman that I am, I decided to lift it upright all by myself.  That was Tuesday night.  Wednesday morning I woke up and my back was killing me.  Dumb move.  So after most of last week on a heating pad with muscle relaxers and heavy duty ibuprofen, I'm finally feeling almost human again. :-)

Getting a few more items listed today.  I have the photos taken, that's half the battle.  My goal is to have everything that's photographed up by the end of the week.

Listing Away

S-l-o-w-l-y getting things listed on my website...  Really wishing my photography skills were more polished!  Everything from Dewey will be making it on-line over the next month.  Today I'll even be listing one of my hand-stamped pieces, some earrings. 

I'm very excited, I have a new table that I'll be building today!  It's very sturdy - at least it seemed that way in IKEA - so should make the stamping WAY easier...

As a side note, are any of you taking your greys trick or treating?  I think Starry, our newest grey, will be joining us on the rounds.  Mostly because he doesn't like being left home...  :-)  He's got a GORGEOUS pumpkin collar to show off...  OK, you KNOW I'll be photographing him wearing that today...  ;-)

Just Itchin' to Create!

I'm so excited that I'm going to be able to work in the studio today!!!  Things have been pretty hectic since I returned from Dewey.  Translation - unpacking and laundry.  :-)  But I'm finally going to get a chance to work on jewelry today!  So thank you for your patience, I'll be filling those orders from Dewey.  Plus I will be starting to photograph all of my Greyhound pieces and putting them on the website, so please keep checking...

It's Time!!!!

The bags are packed!!!  Woo hoo!  Dewey bound, on an early morning flight.  It will be a VERY early morning!  I can hardly wait to pull into town and see all the "Welcome Greyhounds!" signs!
